John E. Britt, M.D., a highly experienced board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in spinal surgery.
As a fellow of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons and an active member of the North American Spine Society and the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society, Dr. Britt treats a wide spectrum of orthopedic and spine conditions.
Dr. Britt is also a member of the Orthopedic Trauma Association and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He treats orthopedic injuries, including fracture care and degenerative conditions of the shoulder, hip, and knee.
Dr. Britt completed his orthopedic residency at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospital Cleveland and spine surgery fellowship at the prestigious NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases.He served as a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy where he gained invaluable experience at the Naval Medical Center, San Diego, and the US Naval Hospital Naples, Italy.
As a fellowship trained spine surgeon, Dr. Britt specializes in traumatic and degenerative disorders of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. He has extensive experience performing minimally invasive lumbar discectomies and decompressions, cervical and lumbar fusions, and arthroplasties, and kyphoplasty procedures. Dr. Britt also performs spinal injections including epidural steroid injections, facet/medial branch block injections, and radiofrequency ablation procedures.
Dr. Britt is also experienced in the management of orthopedic extremity conditions and performs shoulder, hip and knee arthroplasties and long bone, wrist, and ankle fracture fixation.
